  1. Actually you’re right, I don’t know what I’m talking about, I have not seen the series yet. I was just giving a feeling after having seen this trailer ; besides the fact that it is a remake, I find the subject in 2013 very unoriginal, and it seems to me full of clichés. I kinda judge a thing from what I see, not who made it…But then again, it’s just a trailer and I’ll give the series a shot. Sorry for my poor english.

  2. dude you have no idea what you are talking about. THIS IS FINCHER!! we are talking about. No one thought the Social Network was a good idea when it was announced and all though production, everyone believed that remaking the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was unnecessary and that it would crumble and burn, Fincher proved them all wrong. Have faith in him, he know what he’s doing.

  3. Watch the first 2 seasons of the British original before you watch this one. It puts everything in perspective and you’ll appreciate the remake even more. The original House of Cards is on Netflix instant.

  4. Can’t wait to see it. I was an extra in 2 episodes and it definitely feels like its going to be a good show. I love Kevin Spacey too so I’m eager.

  5. Actually its a remake from a British series. I not sure how it will end to be but the quality and detail seem awesome so I’ll check this show.

  6. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to troll and l know I will get insulted, but even if I love both Fincher and Spacey, this show is so unoriginal, uninspired… I don’t understand how so much talent can be wasted on a subject like that which have been seen and seen again over the years… I’ll watch an episode because it’s Fincher and Spacey, but this thing seems to be way overrated because of those 2 names… Looks like a very sad and serious show on a overused subject.

  7. Well thankfully, since I’m not in America, I really don’t have to try it. Fincher? Please. Yeah, could have been a lot better.

  8. Just watched the BBC show. F.U. was amazing, but come on man, if a remake of that series was to be made, how better chances ca it get that Fincher and Spacey? You got to give it a try, at the very very least

  9. I am a subscriber and that how netflix does their series. This is not the 1st new original series for netflix. No need to wait with netflix you can make your own schedule or have a one day marathon. Check their previous series called Lilyhammer – a Gangster Comedy-drama.

  10. After he’s passed up for a promotion, British politician Francis Urquhart vows to exact revenge on the system that’s holding him back. Through charm and persuasion, Urquhart gains the trust of his colleagues while simultaneously undermining them.

Sounds like the 1990-1995 BBC Series.

Rip-off series, watch the Real series and gain a better insight.

  11. i dont know if it will be all in one shoot. they might come out with an episode every week, but you could be right. i dont know how netflix works its series

  12. Everything Fincher makes is a work of art. Despite people talking crap about some of his movies like Alien 3 and Panic Room, I don’t think you can deny how wonderfully he frames and lights everything. I feel like you could freeze any shot of any movie that he’s done and it would be worthy of a picture that I would frame and put in my living room. How he hasn’t won best director yet is astounding.

  13. Except for the part where they tried to split their services into two different sub-companies to charge people more money, but luckily the voice of their customers was enough to scare them away from that idea. Since then, everything about them has been great!

  14. FU would support the Prime Minister until the very end that was part of his charm. You would want to trust him completely. He was a “back room boy”, completely loyal. On the outside. Yet us as the audience got to see the trappings of his mind and the “inside” of FU. Spacey (Possibly) tells the President he does not support him. That already for me has given me some cause for concern along with him asking for complete loyalty. I’ll still watch it of course. Just wanted to voice my reservations.
