@harmfulifconsumed Dude settle down. Stop telling me to go read an interview when you won’t even go to wikipedia. That’s called being a hypocrite. I never grouped Nintendo fans as retro. You jumped to that conclusion. I said you sound like a retro gamer. Either way, go and enjoy those games, but don’t slam everyone else for not sharing your, or a musicians, vision. Especially since you have noο»Ώ idea what a casual gamer is πŸ™‚

@kissmymoney actually I was just thinking that this would be good on an ipod, just for chilling

  15. harmfulifconsumed says:

@jmbenning Are you fucking serious? You want me to read Wikipedia as if that is the definitive source of something so subjective? You’re a moron.

And you obviously didn’t read the interview because Trent listed reasons as to why he is a Nintendo fan. He didn’t say old games, he included the Wii in his reasoning and why he loves it and the way Nintendo operates. Your attempt to group Nintendo fans as “retro gamers” is fucking pathetic. I love MODERN Nintendo games as well. You’re close minded.

  16. jmbenning says:

@harmfulifconsumed Better yet, check out “gamer” on wikipedia. You’ll see a few genres and see that you’re understanding of a casual gamer is way off. First person shooter gamers usually fall under the hardcore gamer category. I think I’d place you under the retro gamer category too. Why does Trent like old nintendo games you ask? Simple. He’s old.

  17. jmbenning says:

@harmfulifconsumed Also stop slamming everyone for being a fanboy when you might be the biggest nintendo fanboy I ever saw. We were talking about originality in games and you said that no “real gamer” plays uncharted. Buddy. Uncharted is probably one of the best franchises to date. It’s fresh, it’s exciting! The difference is Sony and Xbox create new content while Nintedo relies on Zelda and Mario all the time. So stop insulting me, cause that’s useless, and talk to me bro.

  18. jmbenning says:

@harmfulifconsumed You are one angry bastard aren’t you? Why do you point me to an interview with Trent Reznor when Im discussing this with you. Are you not man enough to make decisions for yourself? I never insulted you and I never showed hostility so calm down and talk to me. Check the first paragraph of what a casual game is on wikipedia.

  19. Markgangzta says:

Why argue over the oscars, they’re a load of shit and always have been.

  20. yukit91 says:

everytime i listen to this song, i feel like hacking

  21. harmfulifconsumed says:

@jmbenning And learn to fucking read, a lot of what you were criticizing me for like a fucking idiot is stuff Trent said in interviews, as clearly fucking evidenced by the quotes and the fact I put his name before it. Just use Google and search “Trent Reznor Joystiq Interview.” It’s not hard, I’m sure in your small fucking Sony fanboy brain you can do that.

Now leave me the fuck alone I have actual games to play.

  22. harmfulifconsumed says:

@jmbenning Oh God, just shut the fuck up please. There’s no such thing as a first-person casual gamer? REALLY? You think the 9 year olds who first started gaming with Halo 3 aren’t casual gamers?

A casual gamer is someone who belittles every other genre and only plays one, mostly first-person shooters nowadays. A real gamer isn’t so fucking close-minded and can play and appreciate every type of game genre if it’s quality.

And it’s not nostalgia it’s common fucking sense. Go bitch to Trent.

  23. GagasLitteMonster says:

@outsp0k3nmime LOOOOOOL Bit optimistic aren’t you.

  24. jmbenning says:

@harmfulifconsumed There really isn’t such a thing as a first-person casual gamer. A casual gamer barely frequents the controller enough to feel comfortable with it. I see what you are trying to argue. Sadly you fall under the hipster fanboy category. Hipster, because something old is always better than something new. Fanboy, because you lash out at other consoles while having an unwavering loyalty to the Wii. If you want casual gamer, look at the Wii! The sales charts are through the roof!

  25. jmbenning says:

@harmfulifconsumed Oddly you defend Nintendo’s originality in video games, and jump on the wagon that games today are all the same? What has Nintendo done since the beginning? Nintendo. Hah. More like nostalgia. How many iterations of Mario do people need? Oh look, a remastered version of Zelda. You want originality in game play. You bought in to the wrong franchise.

Not that any of this has anything to do with the song.
