Avatar deeply addresses a rather serious issue facing our people , and it does so without ever mentioning a word about it directly , At issue is is a problem with our cultures “world view” that
“We are Separate” from nature and all to often each other, Avatar lets many people feel what its like to “see” and “feel” the world and our part in this community in a Connected manor this world view is Mirrored betwean the Na’Vi and the world view real native peoples share, this can realy open eyes.

William Buhl is full of, well, “Buhl”.

I’m not saying that Mademoiselle here is not, nor that ‘Avatar’ doesn’t have patches of bull in it.

But here’s a movie almost devoid of bull.

    Google exactly..

    dark crystal dailymotion

.. and it will be your first hit. (It plays the first 9 minutes of the movie; no spoilers.)

*An annoying ad plays midway, but the video clip continues after it.

Avatar was great, especially in that it portrayed a possible portrayed (except for the floating islands!)

I feel that ‘Crystal’ will especially appeal to the really smart among you.

I actually look at it as an advance version of my other All time/Childhood favourite movie… Pocahontas. 🙂

I was deeping affected too… The message is just…

I think we are going through this… and I think “Eywa will help us”

I See You seems to me like… I am Connect to You… I am You…

Great video Katie, This aspect of the movie really hit me the first time I saw it. Seeing one self to me translates to one of Eckhart Tolle’s teachings : “being present”. Once our perception of the world is no longer disturbed by mental definitions, labeling and assumptions, we are able to see people and nature around us with a different perspective, mostly a strong feeling, free from identification with form, free from the boundaries of the physical world. Love your videos. Peace.

Yes ”Avatar” is great movie, almost I slept in cinema ( movie is boring). William Buhlman can explain much more interesting and better things about humans.

It was very well done but it is very anti-American. Other than that it was great!! Keep up the great work on the videos.

The Navi’s saying “I see you” comes from the word “Namaste.” search Namaste on youtube and watch the first video on the list, uploaded by butterflygris. “The life in me sees and honors the life in you.”

  14. paradigma says:

Totally agree and feel what you felt in the movie. I wanted to do the same video, nice to see it was done from another 😉
