I had about 14 hits with the two different accounts I tried this on, but no conversion or sales. It was probably something *I* personally did, because I’m kind of new to this whole thing.
4. Twitter WILL bring down the banhammer, your best bet is to avoid promoting anything on twitter. After a heated email exchange with a dev, I decided this is probably not worth it. Not that once upon a time it probably was great but this doesn’t work. You are better off creating a webpage.

This method doesn’t work anymore, I’ve read the book associated with this technique and here are a few updates.
1. Twitter search doesn’t allow for rss feeds anymore on searches, or they removed them. You can still *get* to them, but it’s a bit more complex.
2. You definitely can’t spam, your account has to be an aged account otherwise you will be banned. Throw some normal convos in the mix, interact with people, RT.
